We are delighted to announce that four of our exceptional members, Bernard Dufrêne, Xavier Marcinowski, and Bert Van den Plas and Othman Bouhait have brilliantly obtained their Kaiden Menkyo titles at the international seminar in Chiny, Belgium, in 2025! 🥋

This achievement is the result of their dedication, passion, and hard work within the Takeda Ryu Nakamura Ha. They had the honor of being received by eminent Japanese masters, Kaiden So Shihan Toshihisa Sofue, Kaiden Shihan Gentaro Sofue, and Joden Shihan Hirosato Matsushita, as well as Valmy Debot Kaiden Shihan, who shared their wisdom and expertise.

We are proud to count them among us and wish them a bright future in their martial arts practice. May this recognition be the beginning of a new chapter filled with success and achievements!

Congratulations to all of you! 👏🥇

The title of "Kaiden Menkyo" is a Japanese term used in the field of martial arts. The word "Menkyo" means "license" or "certificate," indicating a level of proficiency in a martial art. The term "Kaiden" translates to "complete transmission" or "integral teaching." Thus, a "Kaiden Menkyo" title represents a very advanced level of mastery, often considered the highest level of certification in certain martial arts schools. This means that the practitioner has not only acquired exceptional technical skills but also a deep understanding of the principles, philosophy, and history of the martial art. Obtaining a Kaiden Menkyo typically involves years of practice, study, and dedication, as well as recognition by a master or authority in the field. This title may also confer the right to teach the martial art to others, making it an important milestone in a practitioner's career.
